Set yourself a 'green' challenge and raise money for Greenfleet

It's not about sacrifice, it's just about doing it differently, smarter and greener.

Here are some ideas of things you could pledge to do for enviroweek:

• Give up the car for a week - walk, cycle or use public transport instead
• Pull your bike out of the shed, get it serviced and get cycling - everywhere
• Plant a vegetable garden
• Start a worm farm or compost bin
• Only use natural temperature regulation - use clothing and windows to regulate temperature, no air-conditioning or heaters
• Change all the lightbulbs over to energy efficient ones
• Aim to have a rubbish-free week
• Rediscover non-electronic forms of entertainment - turn off the TV, X-Box, Wii, etc. - and take on a crossword, pull out the board games or play some active games outside
